MS Dynamics NAV System Requirements

All recommendations are current at the time of publication and show the latest service packs for the required software. Microsoft Dynamics supports the Microsoft Trustworthy Computing initiative and recommends that you install and check for updated service packs because they help secure and stabilize your system.

    • About 250 MB (full installation including two languages)
    • About 110 MB (minimal installation including two languages)
  2. Memory:
    • 60 MB free memory with default cache settings

  1. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express is required for single-user installation when selecting SQL Server Option for MS Dynamics NAV.
  2. SQL Server 2005 Express is part of the client installation program.

    • LAN network connection should be 100 Mbit/sec or better
